Harris CEO Greg Hosch told the newspaper the deal will close Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Harris, which expects 2012 revenue of about $210 million, has 1,000 employees in nine states. It hopes that the acquisition of Thornton will give it greater access to the Washington, D.C. market and government-related work.
Harris, which was founded in 1948, was the second-largest mechanical contractor in the Twin Cities in 2010, according to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal research.
